The Royals are on a tear of overs lately (seven straight) and I’m going to try to hop on the wave before it comes crashing down.
Kansas City starter Dillon Gee has allowed at least three earned runs in two of his last three starts, and Tampa Bay’s Drew Smyly has done the same in three of the last four. The vast majority of each pitcher’s starts have gone over eight runs this season and now that Kansas City’s offense has found some life, we could be in for a few more easy overs before the adjustment.
