Walker, 17, was selected by the state superintendent of public instruction, Mary Peterson. Walker will join 103 other student leaders from across the nation in the weeklong program March 1-8.
Walker will visit Congress, the White House, the Supreme Court, the U.S. Department of State, the Library of Congress and the Pentagon.
He will also receive a $2,000 college scholarship.
