Letter: Sports Illustrated giving warped sense of reality

Just as S.I. does not require its swimsuit issue to exist, J.J. the King of Beepers does not require a billboard with a fictitious woman in lingerie straddling a beeper. Give me a break! The list of inappropriate advertisements is quite extensive and is forcefully communicating a warped sense of morality and reality to our children. It is extremely sad and disturbing to know that these children could grow up with a false impression of what is truly important and a jaded sense of right and wrong.

Indifference can be harmful.
