Buddy Greco, Lezlie Anders, Valentino, Phyllis McGuire, Nick Lewin, Roger Behr, Jackie Trent, the Sign Design Theatre and Culture Shock will all be attending and performing.
The Variety Club will be honoring those in the Las Vegas community who have helped disabled children with the following awards: the Master Showman Award, the Media Awards, the Corporate Award, the Young Variety Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award and their most prestigious Heart of Variety Award, honoring James Bradham, president of the American Bank of Commerce.
The Variety Club is a nonprofit organization with 50 chapters in 11 countries around the world. As the Variety Club's mission statement dictates, all money raised in each community stays in that community. Each year, the Variety Club Heart Awards Annual Dinner raises funds for disabled children of Southern Nevada and also generates a broader awareness of the problems and needs of children in the area.
Cocktails are 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7 at the Top of the Riv, in the Riviera hotel-casino. Tickets are $150. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Variety Club office at 822-1688 or 383-8466.
