Don't forget that the White House is the president's home. And what better place to entertain friends if not in your own home? So what if some of them did drop a couple of bucks into his campaign bucket? They should have been invited. The president is a kind and considerate man.
Lincoln's bed looks awfully small to me and I have heard that its lumpy. I'll take my king-sized bed, but I would like to stop by the president's house for lunch or a cup of coffee.
