KUNV 91.5-FM, UNLV's community radio station, has launched its annual on-air pledge drive for the 1997 fiscal year.
Every day, all day, for 10 consecutive days, KUNV will attempt to reach the goal of $75,000 in collected pledges in order to maintain programming, upgrade equipment and pay operating costs through this community effort.
The station, which started the drive during this morning's "Jazz in the AM" show, needs all types of support, including volunteers to man the phones and pick up and deliver food, to donations of food or other services.
