How the Las Vegas City Council voted Monday to spend tax dollars:
* $217,000 to Pentacore Engineering Inc. for engineering services for the design of the Washington Avenue, Martin Luther King Boulevard to Interstate 15 project, including the construction of road improvements and storm drains.
* $128,490 to Mosler Inc. to install a card access control system.
* $90,754 to Fairway Chevrolet for six half-ton extended cab pickup trucks -- two for the field inspections division of the Planning and Development Department and four for the construction services division of the Public Works Department.
* $63,000 to Keyser Marston Associates Inc., for consultant services on two Downtown Redevelopment Agency projects: $38,000 for the Downtown Development Corp. and $25,000 for the Nevada State Bank Headquarters Project.
* $46,550 to Dean Roofing Co. Inc. of Las Vegas to replace the 4,950-square-foot roof at the Nevada Garden Club.
* $40,000 to the Nevada League of Cities for annual membership dues.
* $33,790 to Philadelphia Mixers of Palmyra, Pa., to rebuild the Philadelphia digester mixer drive at the Water Pollution and Control Facility.
