Reno's high reached 74, 3 degrees above the previous high for the date set 81 years ago in 1916.
Winnemucca also hit the record books with a 72. The previous March 10 high was 71, set in 1972.
And there is at least one more day of unseasonably warm weather in store.
Tuesday's forecast is for a few clouds and some increasing breezes with highs that will flirt with 70 again around Reno and Winnemucca and should easily reach the low 70s in Fallon and Lovelock.
Eastern Nevada will see the mid 60s, Las Vegas will hit the low 80s and points along the Colorado River could touch 90.
