* ALLRED SPEECH -- The Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas will present Gloria Allred as its guest speaker at the Main Event Luncheon on Thursday in the Monte Carlo ballroom. She will speak on "Women's Rights and Women's Wrongs." There will be a cocktail reception at 11 a.m. with the lunch and program at noon. The lunch cost is $35. * THEATER AUDITIONS -- Theatre in the Valley is holding auditions for "The Supporting Cast" from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center in Henderson. The cast requires four women, 30-50, and one man, mid-30s to early 50s. For information, call 458-PLAY.

* OZONE LECTURE -- Nobel Prize-winning chemist F. Sherwood Rowland will present the 10th Nevada Medal Lecture at 3 p.m. March 19 in UNLV's Bigelow Physics Building. The topic for this free public lecture is "Atmospheric Ozone: Two Environmental Challenges." Rowland will receive the 1997 Nevada Medal at a fund-raising dinner and auction following the lecture at 6:30 p.m. at Caesars Palace. * CERAMIC ART -- Two ceramics exhibits will be on display at UNLV's Marjorie Barrick Museum through May 3. The 1997 National Council on Education for Ceramic Arts Clay National, the fourth biennial international juried competition in ceramic art, contains a selection of 53 pieces by 45 artists. The second exhibit is "Table Top Icons: The Michael Hall and Patricia Glascock Collection" of salt and pepper shakers. * LAUGHLIN RODEO -- The Firefighters Rodeo, sponsored by the International Firefighters Games, will be in Laughlin April 9-11 and feature seven rodeo events daily. Admission is $10, $5 for kids, with all the proceeds from the event going to the nonprofit International Firefighters Games, which funds various programs within the industry.
