Nevada's land-exchange process will be highlighted tonight on KVBC Channel 3 during "NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw." The show, which begins at 5:30 p.m., is titling the Nevada land-exchange segment "Fleecing of America." Rep. John Ensign, R-Nevada, was interviewed for the story. Following a Department of Interior report last July that $12 million in taxpayer money may have been lost in four Nevada land exchanges investigated by its inspector general, Ensign asked for an investigation. Ensign introduced the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act in an effort to correct the land-exchange process.
