Pastors say they were unaware money came from Huang

Reid said last week that he received $500 through Huang, and when he learned of the controversy over Huang's fund-raising, he gave the money to two Las Vegas churches.

The Rev. Willie Davis, pastor of the Second Baptist Church, said he wasn't aware of the contribution or any connection with Huang. He said he would not have a problem giving the money back if it was given for the wrong cause.

The Rev. Spencer Francis Barrett of the First African Methodist Episcopal Church said Reid gave his church a $250 check sometime before November's election, but he did not know exactly when. He said Reid supports the church regularly.

Barrett said he would have no reason to consider the money tainted.
