* 'BREAKING LEGS' -- The Off Broadway Theater presents Tom Dullack's "Breaking Legs" March 28 through April 20 at 900 E. Karen Ave., Building D-116, in the New Orleans Square section of Commercial Center. The play, directed by Carl Butto, will be shown at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $11, $9 for seniors, students and matinees. Call 737-0611.

* JAZZ FEST -- The fourth annual Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz Festival will be April 26 at The Hills Park amphitheater in Summerlin. The festival starts at noon and ends at 10 p.m. Gates open at 11 a.m. The artists include Gerald Albright, the Yellowjackets, Fattburger, Everett Harp, Slim Man, Steve Ried and members of the Rippingtons, Mark Antoine, Rick Aroya with his Latin/salsa band and Utopia. Tickets will go on sale Saturday at UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall box office, The Upper Ear, Vesley Music and Mr. Bill's stores.

* 'HUMAN COMEDIES' -- The Winchester Community Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, will present in its theater "An Evening of Human Comedies," satirizing the ups and downs of men and women in a series of skits and sketches. They will be performed by the Jeseph Bernard Acting Studio at 7:30 p.m. March 26 and 27. Admission is free to the public. Call 455-7340 or 734-8718.

* BRAHMS TRIBUTE -- Community College of Southern Nevada will host a festival commemorating the hundredth anniversary of the death of Johannes Brahms. The free, five-day festival will highlight several aspects of Brahms' compositions. Performers include Las Vegas musicians from UNLV, CCSN, Nevada School of the Arts and Cirque du Soleil. Performances will be in Room 1430 of the Cheyenne Campus Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. April 3, 4 and 7, and 2 p.m. April 5 and 6. The April 7 concert will be in the Nicholas Horn Auditorium. * BOLOGNINI COMPETITION -- In 1976, the Las Vegas Music Teachers' Association, under the direction of the late Arnold Shaw, established a scholarship fund to provide support for young musicians. Now in its 22nd year, the Bolognini Competition is again preparing to adjudicate about 50 local students from various musical disciplines. Winners will be presented in a formal recital at CCSN's Nicholas Horn Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. May 10. Those interested in making a donation to the Bolognini Scholarship Fund or owning a copy of the CD "The Incomparable Cellist Ennio Bolognini" can call 558-2972.
