James "Bud" Epperson, 85, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 15, 1911, in Linda Vista, Calif. A longtime resident, he owned a trailer court and was a member of the Odd Fellows, Rotary Club and Lions Club.
He is survived by one son, James A. Epperson Jr. of Bull, Idaho; one daughter, Ruth Schieck of North Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
