Indy Racing League stalwart Tony Stewart said it's conceivable he could be racing twice in Las Vegas this year.

The USAC short-track phenom from Rushville, Ind., plans to contest the Oct. 11 IRL night race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for car owner John Menard. And during a Las Vegas visit Tuesday, Stewart hinted of returning to LVMS in November, when the the barnstorming World of Outlaws winged sprint car series returns for two shows.

That possibility developed when Wo0 regular Dave Blaney tested Stewart's IRL car at Phoenix and told Stewart he had a backup sprinter available.

"It's a good possibility," Stewart said about making his Wo0 debut on the LVMS dirt oval.
