Volunteers are needed for a study on depression in the elderly.
The Pharmacology Research Clinic, 516 S. Sixth St., is interviewing candidates in Las Vegas for the national study. Those interested must be enrolled by March 28.
Drs. Michael DePriest and Patricia Danks are conducting the 12-week study in Las Vegas. Men and women 60 years of age and older are being sought.
Common symptoms of depression include sadness or crying spells, loss of interest in activities, fatigue, sleep problems, inability to concentrate, appetite or weight changes, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.
