* GREATHOUSE JOINS BOARDWALK -- Former Alliance Gaming Corp. President Steve Greathouse has joined Boardwalk Casino Inc. as chief executive officer, a position vacant since the death of company founder Norbert Jansen in January. Greathouse, a 23-year veteran of the gaming incustry, is a former president of Harrah's Entertainment Inc.'s casino-hotel division who resigned from Alliance, a slot route operator and manufacturer, in late 1996 after leading that company's acquisition of Bally Gaming, another slot and information systems maker. Boardwalk owns a 653-room hotel operating as a Holiday Inn franchise and a 33,000-square-foot casino on the Strip.
