The National Flood Insurance Program of the Federal Emergency Management Agency will present a local seminar focusing on flood hazard ratings and flood insurance.
Two seminars, one for insurance agents, community officials, real estate representatives and appraisers and another for lenders, regulators and county officials, will teach participants how to avoid costly errors, protect clients from financial disaster and avoid flood insurance rating pitfalls.
The seminars are scheduled for April 21 at the County Government Center, Organizational Development Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.
From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the agent workshop is scheduled for a $45 cost.
The lender workshop is set for 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at a cost of $25.
