Harris chronology

* JAN. 15, 1995: Harris is arrested in Las Vegas on charges of cheating at keno in Atlantic City. He is fired a couple of days later.

* DEC. 19, 1995: Nevada authorities arrest Harris again, this time on charges of cheating at slot machines in Reno and Lake Tahoe.

* OCT. 2, 1995: The Control Board urges the Nevada attorney general's office to press charges against Harris and sends the office detailed information about how his slot cheating scam worked.

* AUG. 9, 1996: Harris pleads guilty to four counts of slot cheating. Before that, he begins cooperating with the attorney general's office, which was looking into additional alleged wrongdoing at the Control Board. Secret videotapes of his debriefing are made.

* OCTOBER 1996: The attorney general's office turns over two of the videotapes to New Jersey gaming authorities prosecuting Harris.

* DEC. 11, 1996: The Control Board gets copies of the tapes two months after New Jersey agents obtain them.

* MARCH 12: ABC News airs portions of the tapes on "Prime Time Live" while Harris waits to be sentenced in Nevada. His sentencing still isn't scheduled.
