Metro Police are continuing their investigation today into the slaying of a 26-year-old woman found dead in her bedroom from multiple gunshot wounds.
When the victim failed to show up for work Tuesday, two concerned co-workers went to her residence where she lived alone in the 7000 block of Orange Grove Lane, near Warm Springs Road and Spencer Street, said homicide Lt. Wayne Petersen.
When there was no response, the co-workers entered the home through an unlocked door and found her body shortly before 10 a.m., Petersen said.
Authorities have withheld the woman's name until relatives can be notified.
