Another statement in Ms. Moore's letter was a referral to a metal rod. As she was responding to your Feb. 28 article, she is misquoting your article which said a "stick" (not metal rod). But what we find most offensive is her statement referring to Mr. Berosini as "he's still trying to make big bucks off these animals' backs." Everyone who knows our act is aware of our absence from show business. They have succeeded in destroying our livelihood but we still love and care for our animals and nothing will change that regardless of the work and expense involved. They are our family and we'll keep them together no matter what!
