The stores have six Furbys left and will hold a raffle for them at the store at 1095 E. Twain Ave. on Dec. 12 and 19.

Entry into the raffle is a $2 ticket, and there will be three drawings on each of the Saturdays for the toys. Drawings are scheduled for noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 12 and 19.

Niau's teacher, Suzann Marrazzo, who uses the Teens, Crime and Community program in her classroom, nominated him for the honor. "His skills have helped more students get involved by setting such a good example," she wrote. "Keoni has made being part of TCC 'cool' -- and respected -- by students. This is a major accomplishment."

As part of the open house, the clinic is offering $5 flu shot specials and complimentary trigger-point massages to Sun City and Summerlin residents. Call 360-5000. Seating is limited.

"Bighorn," a four-mile moderate hike to a spring often used by bighorn sheep, will explore the life history and unique adaptations of the native animals. Bring binoculars.

"Pine Creek Wanderings," a moderately easy four-mile trip to the old Hunt homestead, will explore how this area's geology provided a retreat for early Red Rock residents. For reservations, call 363-1922.

It will also hold a holiday open house and seminar Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. to explain changes in Medicare. Both programs will be held at 2075 E. Flamingo Road.

Also, the Center for Business and Economic Research will hold an Economic Outlook Seminar Tuesday at 8 a.m. in the Judy Bayley Theatre. Call 895-3191.
