Letter: Can’t afford a child? Condoms aren’t as costly

I'm sure that the staff at any of these facilities would be more than happy to explain to both gentlemen the proper use of condoms, the advantages of a vasectomy and/or the multitude of reasons to abstain from sex altogether.

It seems that Kort's friend and his now-wife have more of a problem making responsible choices than anything else. If this young man could not afford a child, he most certainly could have afforded a condom.

They are very inexpensive, if not free at many of the clinics in Las Vegas. Not only would a condom have prevented a child, but would also help prevent sexually transmitted diseases and HIV.

Was any of this a consideration when this man was having sex with a married woman? Is it a consideration now that he himself is married and involved with another woman?

Or can we all look forward to another letter from Kort in about nine months only to find out that his young friend has been duped again?
