During the six-day trip, Miller and the group will meet with executives from Asian airlines and tour companies to discuss future service to Nevada.
On Monday, Northwest Airlines inaugurated new nonstop service between Tokyo and Las Vegas. Miller is hoping other airlines will follow.
"It is my hope that (in) the coming months we will be able to build on this eager tourist market and will see regularly scheduled and charter service into Las Vegas by foreign-based air carriers," Miller said.
