A small explosion jolted a North Las Vegas neighborhood shortly before midnight on Wednesday.
Police found remains of an explosive device but have not determined what exactly it was, police spokesman Sgt. Tim Bedwell said.
The device created a hole in the garage door of a vacant home at 3413 Birdwatcher Ave., near Centennial Parkway and Aviary Way.
No one was arrested but police are investigating.
