North Las Vegas police are investigating an explosion that damaged a lower corner of a garage door at a vacant house overnight in the Aliante neighborhood.
Police Officer Chrissie Coon says there were no injuries and no fire in the blast a little before midnight Wednesday on a quiet street not far from Aliante and Centennial parkways.
Authorities think the damage was caused by an explosive device, but Coon says they’re not sure what type or how it got there.
