U.N. is worthless in effort to spread peace

The United States still hasn’t learned that the United Nations has never amounted to the world organization it was made to be.

First, you have China and Russia as permanent Security Council members that block passage of all the necessary boycotts of rogue nations such as North Korea and Iran for their testing of nuclear missile development programs.

This in turn negates any progress in keeping the free-world nations safe from these insane dictators who have nuclear weapons or deal with terrorist nations and organizations for the sale of this technology to create world turmoil.

How can President Barack Obama be so naive as to deal with this situation through the United Nations when it has never worked?

“Speak softly and carry a big stick” is the only answer when it comes to dictating terms for peace to any of these dictators.

They will listen, and who cares about world opinion these days, as the United States is the only peacekeeper this world has ever known.

The United Nations isn’t friendly to the United States and is largely made up of Third World nations that hate Americans and peace in the world today.

So President Obama should wake up and smell the coffee: Use our leverage without bowing to a do-nothing organization; and bring the North Korean leadership to its knees by showing some American backbone.
