Gusty winds, isolated showers expected throughout afternoon

After a chilly and windy morning, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 70 degrees this afternoon, with wind gusts as strong as 25 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service is also reporting that isolated to scattered showers will fall in parts of Southern Nevada for the rest of the day.

The temperature at McCarran International Airport reached a high of 67 degrees at 2 p.m. with a wind speed of 20 mph with gusts of 24 mph.

Temperatures will drop to a low of 46 degrees tonight with wind gusts as high as 26 mph.

Thursday will bring warmer temperatures with a high of 74 degrees with a wind speed between 7 and 14 mph with gusts up to 18 mph. Thursday night will bring mostly cloudy skies with a low of 48 degrees.
