A Las Vegas man was arrested today for allegedly attempting to engage in sexual activity with a minor.
Scott Andrew Erb, 21, was arrested in Las Vegas on a federal warrant that stemmed from when he traveled to Southern Utah in December to meet who he thought was a 13-year-old girl on the Internet. The person posing as the minor was a member of a sheriff’s department in Southern Utah.
Erb was found and arrested without incident in the area of South Durango Drive and Warm Springs Road by U.S. Marshals and was booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center pending his extradition to Utah.
