Police identify apparent victim of violent crime

Police have identified a man who they said earlier today was taken to Sunrise Hospital with injuries on March 28 and had no identification.

Police say the man, whom they had been unable to identify, was the victim of a violent crime.

The man was transported to the hospital and was unable to identify himself. He didn't have any identification with him, police said.

Police released a photograph, which authorities believe shows the victim, that was in the man's possession when he arrived at the hospital.

Police didn’t release information about his injuries, the nature of the crime or what part of the city he was found in.
