Chad Campbell is no longer the leader at Masters.

The former UNLV golfer bogeyed holes Nos. 16 and 18 today to finish his round at even-par and two shots behind co-leaders Angel Cabrera and Kenny Perry.

Cabrera and Perry are both at 11-under-par for the tournament while Campbell sits at 9-under-par. Campbell will be searching for his first major tournament victory Sunday during the final round.

Campbell, who has more than $17 million in career earnings, has four career victories on the PGA Tour. His highest finish in a major tournament was in 2003 when he took second in the PGA Championship. He took third at the Masters in 2006.

Campbell opened the tournament Thursday with a 7-under-par 65 – two strokes shy of equaling the two-decade old record for a low round at the event.

Needing a birdie on one of the final two holes for the record, Campbell – just like he did Saturday – bogeyed the 18th hole.

Campbell and Perry were tied for the lead entering Saturday’s third round and Perry carded a 2-under-par 70 to remain atop the leaderboard.

Jim Furyk, who was 4-under-par Saturday, in three shots back in fourth place.

Campbell golfed at UNLV for two years and was a third-team All-American in 1996 as the Rebels finished three strokes behind Arizona State for the national title.

He played every round of every tournament during his two seasons and led the squad with 16 rounds par-or-under as a senior.

He was inducted into the UNLV Hall of Fame in 2006.
