Mayor Oscar Goodman, as most triple-digit IQ folks know, should not be taken seriously. No better example came Wednesday when His Honor told the thin wrapping that encases the Sun that the Culinary Union’s leadership is “evil” for trying to put the brakes on the quarter-billion-dollar Oscar B. Goodman City Hall monument and his redevelopment dreams. Yes, the Culinary is primarily self-interested in its pursuit — trying to force labor concessions — but the union has made excellent points about the redevelopment policies at Roundheels Central. But evil? Evil? No, Mayor. Tony “The Ant” Spilotro was evil. People who treat the homeless like animals are evil. Elected officials who feign sincerity but are dangerous demagogues are evil. Got it?
