Ex-Treasure Island executive named to IGT post

International Game Technology has announced the appointment of former Treasure Island President Tom Mikulich as a vice president.

Mikulich, who stepped down when new owner Phil Ruffin bought the property from MGM Mirage, has joined IGT as vice president of MegaJackpots.

Before his time at Treasure Island, Mikulich served as senior vice president of casino operations at The Mirage.

IGT also named Craig Billings, formerly of Goldman Sachs, as the company’s new vice president of corporate finance and investor relations. Most recently, Billings served as a vice president at Goldman Sachs in the investment banking division in London covering the gaming and leisure industries.

IGT has had several recent shakeups in management in recent months, with president and CEO TJ Matthew’s resignation and board member Patti Hart named as his replacement. In December, the company announced the resignation of Vice President Bob Bittman and separately, the promotion of Patrick Cavanaugh as the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer.
