Death investigation
North Las Vegas Police Department detectives are investigating the death of a woman found inside a residence about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The 46-year-old woman was found inside a residence on Pearl Marble Avenue near 5th Street and Lone Mountain Road with an apparent injury to the head, said Chrissie Coon, spokeswoman for the North Las Vegas Police Department.
Police are not certain whether the woman died from a self-inflicted wound or in some other manner, so the death remains under investigation, Coon said.
The Clark County Coroner's Office will identify the woman and determine the cause and manner of death.
