Two local handbell choirs will perform a free concert at the Senior Center April 26 at 4 p.m. If you enjoy handbells or have never had the chance to hear a handbell choir perform, you are in for a treat. The Harmony Ringers and the Sun City Handbell Choir are community groups of ringers from Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City. Both choirs are directed by Janet Ty.

At the April 26 concert, Harmony Ringers and The Sun City Handbell Choir will be performing a mix of music including contemporary, jazz and classical.

Fun and games

The Senior Center has a new toy, a Wii console game. The Wii is being used in senior centers across the country to get people up and moving, creating lots of laughter in the process. Bowling, golf, tennis and boxing are just a few of the activities that it simulates. A big thank you goes to New Hope Hospice for the donation.

Massages scheduled

Chair and hand massage returns to the center April 24 at 10 a.m. Be sure to sign-up at the front desk that morning. Louise is a top-notch licensed massage therapist.
