Store clerk robbed at gunpoint

A man and a woman robbed a clerk at gunpoint in a store in the 4200 block of East Bonanza Road at about 10 p.m. March 30, Metro Police said today. Authorities today also released photos of the suspect.

Employees were in the back of the store preparing to close when the two robbers walked in, police said. The woman went to the register while a man with her looked under the counter for a safe, police said.

One employee heard the robbers and came out to check on the noise. The man pointed a gun at the clerk, while the woman demanded more money, police said. The pair left the store taking the employee's car keys and leaving in the employee's vehicle, a 2004 gold Honda Accord, four-door with tinted windows, police said.

The woman is described as 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6-inches tall, weighing 120 pounds. She was seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

The man is described as 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10-inches tall, weighing 150 to 180 pounds and wearing a black baseball cap, black hoodie, dark jeans and black and white tennis shoes.
