Congratulations to Alexandra Berzon and the Las Vegas Sun, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. Berzon’s work was an outstanding piece of journalism in the public interest, but it did not occur in isolation.
At a time when newspapers and investigative reporting are in decline, overall the Sun has done an exceptional job of reporting, and your editorial page has been on top of the major issues of the day. Clearly your paper is a model for the revival of the entire industry.
