I salute Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman for his ability to propose the building of a new city hall and his concern for downtown redevelopment.
Las Vegas is listed by travel agents as among the top three destinations in the United States. The reality is the building of a new city hall is long overdue. The redevelopment of the downtown area is very important.
Las Vegas is unique. We have visitors from around the world.
A citizens’ vote on the mayor’s city hall proposal and the redevelopment of downtown is not necessary.
All citizens of Las Vegas must unite behind our mayor. He has great foresight and is only trying to improve our city.
