North Las Vegas Police detectives today are asking for the public's help in finding a man who assaulted a woman inside a house in February.
North Las Vegas officers went to the 4400 block of Scarlet Sea on a violent disturbance call about 4:19 a.m. Feb. 25, police said. They found a 44-year-old woman who had been assaulted by a man who was a guest in the home.
The woman is still recovering with two broken arms, police said.
Police are trying to find 50-year-old Bryon Davia, who is 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, police said.
Davia is wanted for battery with substantial bodily harm, police said. He works as a day laborer and frequents homeless shelters and transient communities.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. Cash rewards up to $2,000 are offered to anonymous persons who call Crime Stoppers with information that leads to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for felony crimes.
