Wow, what a great political cartoon from Mike Smith in Tuesday’s Las Vegas Sun!
In one panel of the cartoon, a woman tells her child with blood dripping from his hand, “Yes, you’re bleeding, but there’s no reason to use a Band-Aid.”
The last panel of the cartoon contains the punchline from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano: “Yes, we’re facing a possible pandemic of swine flu from Mexico, but there’s no reason to close the border.”
This issue is not about Democrats or Republicans, but it is about the Obama administration and of Homeland Security not putting the American people and this country first and foremost. I always thought George W. Bush was the best president that Mexico ever had, but I have since changed my mind.
