Organic Alien Margarita

Come May 5, I’ll be beaming up cocktails with Alien Tequilas anejo, which, aged one year in oak, is pleasantly perfumey with hints of vanilla, spice and smoke on the finish, the sipping made all the better with the addition of a few ice cubes. The native Nevada tequila (headquartered on the Extraterrestrial Highway in Area 51-adjacent Hiko) took the gold medal at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as did the extra-anejo. Alien Tequila will invade La Madonna on Cinco de Mayo. The abductions begin at 5 p.m. with the Alien Army Girls, tastings and food and drink specials.

1 oz. Alien Tequila Silver

1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice

0.5 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice

1 oz. agave syrup
