Summerlin deaths

Michele Burrows

Michele M. Burrows, 66, of Las Vegas, died Jan. 15 at a Las Vegas hospital.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1942, in New York City. She was a retired bartendress.

She is survived by her sons Keith M. Burrows and Brandon O. Burrows and his wife, Kelly; granddaughter, Maia Burrows; mother, Helen J. Nelub; brother, Michael P. Nelub; and sisters Andrea A. Bell and Carol D. Bray.

A visitation was held Jan. 22 at Palm Mortuary-Downtown.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 23 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St.

Interment will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Wilbur Harper

Wilbur "Bill" Claude Harper, of Las Vegas, died Nov. 25.

The 22-year resident was born Oct. 15, 1925, in South Bend, Ind. He graduated from Riley High School and earned his law degree at Indiana University in Bloomington. He was an executive with Cigna Insurance until his retirement in 1975. A U.S. Navy veteran, Harper served during World War II on Destroyer Escort 337 Dale Peterson as a petty officer and sonar operator.

He is survived by two nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters and brother.

No services were planned.

Angel Reese

Angel Lynn Reese, 29, of Las Vegas, died Jan. 12 in her home.

A lifelong Las Vegas resident, she was born Feb. 9, 1979. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Reese; son, Trevor Ryan Purvis; daughters Alyssa Elizabeth Reese, Autumn Alexis Reese and Alanna Jade Reese; mother, Kathleen Gibbs; stepfather, James R. Gibbs; brother Christopher James Gibbs; and sister Lindsay Marie Gibbs, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service was held Jan. 17 at First Baptist Church of the Lakes.
