Rose Marie Boehm, 85, of Henderson died May 18.

She was born Oct. 30, 1923, in North Dakota, and lived most of her life in North Dakota and Montana. She worked as a restaurant owner/operator most of her life. She owned Boehm's Pizza Place in Red Lodge, Mont., from 1973 to 1976.

She is survived by her son Jack; daughters Ellett, Marla and Mary; and brother Adam Ell of North Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob, and son, Doran.

Memorial donations may be made to Odyssey Harbor House of Las Vegas.

She was interred at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Sunrise Cremation and Burial Society handled the arrangements.

Glayd Thomas Owens Jr., 57, passed away June 2 in his cabin at Panguitch Lake.

He was born Dec. 5, 1951, in Panguitch, Utah, to Glayd Thomas Sr. and Ruth Frandsen Owens.

Glayd graduated from Basic High School in Henderson in 1970. He went to Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, on a football scholarship. He was the Nevada state wrestling champion and most valuable player for football.

Glayd lived at his dream, on the top of his mountain in his cabin at the end of his dirt road. His heart will always remain at Panguitch Lake.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth; daughters Tracy Velasquez and her husband, Mike, of Henderson, Tammy Owens-Corwin and her husband, Chuck, of Hatch, Utah, Tara Cooper and her husband, Shane, of Arlington, Wash., and Tiffany Owens of Hatch; brothers and sisters Eddie Owens and his wife, Beannie, of Henderson; Sherrie Owens of Panguitch; Jerry Owens and his wife, Jeannie, of Las Vegas; Ashley Owens of Panguitch; grandchildren Jeremy, Marissa, Brooke, Donnie-Ray, Faith, Lindsey, Amelia, Savannah and Richard; and 28 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother Carl Owens, granddaughter Brooke Owens.

Memorial services were held June 6 at the Owens Brothers Panguitch Lake General Store.
