The Jewish War Veterans Sgt. Manny Peven Post 65 recently elected new officers.
Ed Kranson was elected commander, Selwyn Goldberg as senior vice commander, Gene Kanofsky as junior vice commander and Bernie Spindel, judge advocate.
Appointed officers are Herb Chapnick, Jack Cohen, Marshall Levin, Rozlyn Snitzer, George Barnett, Larry Brody, Bernie Snitzer, Burt Weissbuch, Don Margolis, Marianne Schwartz, Dick Rose, Sandi Rothman, Betty Chapnick, David Sellen, Mary Ann Cohen and Jane Kranson.
The Jewish War Veterans Sgt. Manny Peven Post 65 is a service organization for any people of the Jewish Faith with good character, who are a citizens of the United States of America, who were regularly enlisted, drafted, inducted or commissioned, and who were accepted for and assigned to active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
The organization meets at the Wild Horse Golf Club 2100 W. Warm Springs Road, Henderson on the first Sunday of the month at 9:15 a.m. Any Jewish veteran is encouraged to attend. For further information contact Gene Kanofsky at (702) 454-2878.
