A warm, sunny Saturday is expected in the Las Vegas Valley before weather changes arrive in Southern Nevada and bring cooler temperatures and wind.
The National Weather Service said that the high could reach 93 degrees today, one degree shy of the record 94 degrees set in 1927. The low tonight of 65 degrees is nowhere near the record low of 35 degrees, reached in 1897.
For Sunday the high could reach 94 degrees before increasing clouds and windier conditions arrive late Sunday afternoon and overnight.
Another cooler weather pattern is arriving from the Pacific Northwest by Monday, which will help to cool things down once again. The temperatures are not expected to change too drastically, even with more winds and clouds arriving.
October’s temperatures have been on a roller coaster and the coming week is unlikely to break the pattern. After highs expected in the low to mid 70s early in the coming week, temperatures are expected to climb back up to around five degrees above normal by the end of next week.
