The clerk murdered during a robbery at a North Las Vegas 7-Eleven is seen on surveillance video begging for his life before he is shot to death, police said.

According to a North Las Vegas Police arrest report, Jason Miller, 25, is seen on tape ordering Suchinma Revtissamahramaye, 38, to open the cash register drawers. Miller is in the store with the clerk for several minutes and then starts to walk away. He then stops, turns around, and fires several times at Revtissamahramaye before running out the door.

A man identified by police as Jerome Raphael Bolton, 22, is also seen on the tape entering the store and acting as a lookout, the report said.

Both men have been arrested and charged with multiple felony counts, including murder, robbery, and assault, all enhanced with the use of a deadly weapon, in the March 24 incident at the 7-Eleven store at 2100 E. Cheyenne Ave, which is at the intersection of North Civic Center Drive.

Detectives developed Miller as a suspect after receiving multiple tips from citizens, the report said. Miller agreed to be interviewed by homicide detectives. When he arrived at the police station, he was asked to empty his pockets. In his possession was a partial pack of Newport cigarettes, a black fingerless glove and the key to a Honda.

The report said the man seen in the surveillance video who shot Revtissamahramaye was wearing a black fingerless glove. He was also seen taking packs of Newport cigarettes, the report said.

When interviewed by police, Miller said he had been at the store in the early morning hours of March 24 but denied taking part in the shooting. He said he entered the store, looked over the counter and saw the clerk on the floor, bloody, the report said.

The investigator took the car key Miller had with him when he came to the police station and found that it was the key to Revtissamahramaye’s car. Miller said “a guy” had given him the key and the fingerless glove. Miller was booked on murder and robbery charges.

After being arrested, police interviewed Miller again. He confessed to the crimes committed at the 7-Eleven in the second interview and also gave information about the second suspect, who police identified as Bolton.

When police interviewed Bolton, they showed him images from the surveillance tape. He admitted to police that it was him who was shown on the tape, the report said.

He said he and Miller had discussed the robbery before entering the store and they had taken money, Newport cigarettes and some Swisher Sweets cigarillos.

The men are being held without bond in the North Las Vegas jail.
