Metro Police are searching for three suspects in connection with a possible gang-related shooting that left a man in critical condition Thursday night in the northwest valley.
Metro spokeswoman Officer Barbara Morgan said the shooting occurred at 9:52 p.m. Thursday on Harvest Valley Avenue, near Gowan Road and El Capitan Way.
Morgan said a husband and wife were in their garage when they noticed someone at the front door of their home. They opened the garage door and three suspects confronted them, she said.
The husband was shot in the face and taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, Morgan said.
The suspects fled in what police believe is a black four-door Dodge Charger. Morgan said it appears the victim knew the suspects.
