Coroner identifies husband, wife in murder-suicide

The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified a husband and wife who died Saturday during a murder-suicide.

Angelina Testa, 79, whose death has been ruled a homicide, died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Her husband, Phil Testa, 74, committed suicide with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner. Both were from Las Vegas.

Metro Police said an elderly man called police at 7:34 p.m. Saturday and said he had killed his wife. When officers responded to the residence on Maryland Parkway, they tried negotiating with the man, but he committed suicide later in the evening, police said.

Police said they found Angelina Testa dead inside the home with a gunshot wound.
