Two men entered a western Las Vegas Valley home Monday morning and opened fire on two people inside, killing a teenage girl and critically injuring a man.

The Clark County Coroner's Office on Monday afternoon identified the 15-year-old girl as Alexus Postorino, of Las Vegas. The coroner hasn't ruled on the cause or manner of her death, but police have said she was shot.

Metro Police responded at 3:43 a.m. to the home in the 9700 block of Villa Lorena Drive in response to a shooting. That location is near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Grand Canyon Drive.

Officers arrived to find the front door of the home had been kicked in. Police then found a man and Postorino inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Both were taken to University Medical Center, where Postorino later died and the man was undergoing surgery Monday morning. He was listed in critical condition, police said.

The suspects were dressed in all black clothing and police didn't have a description of the men. They were seen running from the home after the shooting, authorities said.

Police had the residential street blocked off Monday morning as they continued the investigation.

Anyone with information about the shooting is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or Metro's homicide section at 828-3521.
