Fatal shooting
Authorities today are continuing to look for a gunman after a man’s body was found in the area of Adams and 4th streets Sunday afternoon, police said.
Police responded at about 3:30 p.m. to reports of gunshots in the area. When they got to the scene, they found a dead man in the road. It appeared he had died of multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Police said homicide detectives believe the man was shot while inside a vehicle that was northbound on 4th Street. The suspect then dropped the body into the roadway, police said.
The Clark County coroner's office hasn't identified the victim.
Police are asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
