Metro Police found a 13-year-old girl who California authorities issued an Amber Alert for earlier today after she was abducted in San Bernardino County Sunday morning.
California officials said Miranda Hemphill was abducted at her home by 22-year-old Ivan Lopez, who befriended her online.
Metro spokeswoman Barbara Morgan said police found the man's van in the 4600 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South at 8:12 a.m. today.
Hemphill and Lopez were taken into custody, but Lopez was later turned over to the FBI for questioning, Morgan said.
Lopez had been wanted in connection with a sex crime in 2009, officials said.
